ANN ARBOR, MI – One of the most important parts of his job as principal at Clague Middle School was greeting students outside the school at the beginning of the day, Ch&eaigu; Carter said. Without that face-to-face time to connect, since in-person classes were canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, Carter has resorted to using world drums, orchestra strings and his talents as a rap emcee to welcome Clague students back to another week of distance learning.
